What is the best time to have my baby photographed?

Ideally, 5-14 days old.With your baby being under 14 days old, we are more likely to achieve more curled up, posed and sleepy orphotographs. As they get older, we are able to photograph more awake and sometimes smiley babies. I photograph ‘newborns’ up to 4 weeks old. After this time, lifestyle family session is a great option.

When is the best time to "book" the newborn session, and how much notice is required?

The best time to book your newborn photography session in Sydney is around the same time you schedule your maternity shoot. We recommend providing at least 7 calendar days’ notice to secure your preferred date or selecting from the remaining available slots.

Can I reschedule the session once booked ?

We understand the complexity of the situation, and we are happy to reschedule if its necessary.

How many images can I expect in each setup for my newborn photography?

Each baby is unique, and the number of images per setup depends on how smoothly the session flows. Your Sydney newborn photographer will capture a variety of poses, angles, and close-ups, delivering a beautiful mix of shots with natural variations in each arrangement.

Can we include pets?

Apologies. Pets cannot be included in any newborn session due to risk of contamination.

Can we select the images?

Absolutely, we can certainly understand that and we provide the option when requested. Once the images are selected and edited, we don’t replace or swap with different images

How long does it takes to deliver the work?

I usually takes 2-3 weeks to deliver the work in the gallery. If you wish to have USB drive, the cost will be $25 including postage fee. We have express delivery of work (Additional fees apply)c

What would be size of unedited images?

The unedited images comes in 3000×2000 resolution and good for memories only.

What are the refund policy ?

Once booked andIf unforeseen circumstances the shoot didn’t happen, the retainer amount may be credited for future use.

And when the work is downloaded from the gallery, the service is consumed and hence no possibility of refunds.

A newborn photography session usually lasts between 2 to 4 hours, depending on the baby’s mood, feeding, and comfort. The extra time allows for feeding breaks, diaper changes, and settling to keep your little one comfortable and happy.

How to prepare for newborn photography?

To prepare for your newborn photography, keep your baby well-fed and dressed in loose clothing to avoid marks on their skin. Bring essentials like extra diapers, wipes, and a pacifier, and try to schedule the shoot when your baby is usually sleepy for calm, cozy photos.
